At a press reception in one of the Claremont residences, Bill Hyland (PRO and joint Treasurer) introduces the chairman, Proinnsias. Also in the photo are committee members Helen Feeney (murdered in 1986 while on a stint of nursing duty as matron in a Saudi-Arabia hospital) and Marilyn Stewart, and new TD to the area, one Bertie Ahern, who retained close contact with the residents to the present day (and launched the Clareville CD on the Graves of Glasnevin in 2016).
